As a team of technical translators, we deal with material from many fields of industrial technology. Over the last decade, we have acquired specialist know-how in the fields of information technology and telecommunications, as well as solar (photovoltaics) and wind power technologies. A large number of leading companies, some of them global players, rely on our services. The quality of our linguistic data pool is maintained by a skilled terminologist.

Chemistry

We have translated patents and formulations for German chemical companies belonging to the BASF group for many years.

Information technology

For more than 17 years Dell has entrusted us with translations of critical marketing messages within extremely tight schedules, training documentation for Microsoft Win­dows Ser­ver 2008 and internal communications. We will he happy to rise to any challenge when it comes to computer-related material, be it networking specifications or end user software manuals. We use both Windows PCs and Macs and run a Linux file server. Data security is of utmost importance to us. Sitting behind a secure firewall, our mirrored Linux server holds many years of translations, and our tape library stores material all the way back to 1992.

Telecommunications

ISDN, DSL, VoIP, billing systems, text-​to-​speech, voice recognition - communications technology has a large share in what we do, and clients such as Intervoice value that.

Solar energy

We have a personal relationship with photovoltaics. We had 1.8kW of solar power installed on our roof in 1998, improving our energy footprint. Which means we are familiar with the technology - from the inverter to the generator connection box.  So we're particularly pleased about the regular work we get from our clients from the solar industry. Oh yes, and our electricity comes from Green­peace En­er­gy.

Wind energy

From the Wind­far­mer soft­ware to turbine specifications to energy yield assessments, we have covered the wind energy field extensively. Luckily for us, the For­Wind research centre is here in Oldenburg so we can stay current with the latest developments.
