Translation MemorySince 1994, we have been using the Déjà Vu translation tool from Atril. This productivity tool allows simultaneous processing of translation or localization projects containing any number of files by several translators accessing the same databases on our local network. The system automatically inserts repetitive text, thus facilitating translation consistency and ensuring a homogeneous reproduction of the original text in the target language. This allows for speedy processing of large projects whilst ensuring consistency on terminological and phraseological levels. Research ToolsTo research new terminology and find phraseology that is appropriate for the targeted audience, we can draw on our well-equipped library with its many up-to-date technical journals, magazines and reference works |
A massive CD-ROM library containing a large number of current IT, technical, business and legal dictionaries and trade magazines provides us with rapid access to high-quality multilingual material. When this is not sufficient, we will search the Internet to obtain contexts for new terms or word creations and to explore advanced fields of technology. This is helped by our use of the latest broadband technology. Data ProtectionWe value our own data as much as the information provided by our clients. For this reason, we use multi-redundant systems. All relevant information resides on a mirrored Linux file server which is regularly backed up - incremental backups are performed daily, complete backups are scheduled on a weekly basis. We are protected from viruses by a firewall which is integrated into the DSL gateway and anti-virus software running on all workstations. More info:
