Modern translation toolsOur translations are created with the help of modern translation software that guarantees consistency in the documents and among different projects for the same client. To be able to process the majority of today's translation file formats, we have current versions of many of the most popular word processing and desktop publishing programs, such as FrameMaker and QuarkXPress, in addition to MS Office. However, while striving to keep our software library as current as possible, we try to avoid installing every new piece of software that comes along and prefer to wait until the inevitable bug fixes appear. This is also the case with Office and Windows XP. On the other hand, if a client wants us to use a specific application, we will gladly install it on a single PC.
Still, not every written word exists electronically, but with the help of a professional flatbed scanner and sophisticated OCR software, we'll take care of printed material as well.
